In December 2004, the Sunstar Hotel Grindelwald will follow Arosa in providing a complete, attractive wellness center.

As was the case in Arosa, wellness and tourism specialist Willi Grob is responsible for the concept.

Occupying an area of 1,200 m2, the light-filled relaxing and comfortable world of wellness will enjoy an unrivalled panoramic view of the world-famous mountains of the Bernese Oberland.

This exclusive spa with a Roman therme will offer five climatic zones and an outside garden, as well as a large quiet area for relaxing and regeneration. In addition, there is a modern fitness center with a circuit-cardiocross and gymnastics room, as well as a cosmetic area, body care, beauty baths and a massage studio.

"Water works miracles." For this reason, it is water that is most important in our wellness philosophy: refreshing, clean, gentle, soft, but also full of energy in its play of opposites from ice cold to tropically hot, as steam or the needle spray of the showers - as an element of life.

We'll also have a large pool in which one can really swim, with a steam bath plus relaxing garden area (in summer) and daily water gymnastics (free of charge for all hotel guests).
